Correspondence regarding the deed restriction at Fort Sheridan:
At their March 13, 2012 meeting, the Board of Commissioners approved a resolution requesting the Department of the Army remove the golf course deed restriction at Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve and allow the District to use that land as open space for recreational trails, habitat restoration and scenic overlooks.
