This camp introduces outdoor and wilderness skills with a focus on team-building. Your child will learn what is required to survive in the great outdoors with and without equipment. Activities include building shelter and fire, orienteering, canoeing and water safety. The whole week prepares them for one final test on the last day, which applies the skills they learned.
This camp is for children ages 12–14 by the first day of camp. Choose only one Survival Basics session per child please.
Meet outside the Visitors Center.
Please download, complete and turn in all Summer Camp Registration forms on June 1 or at least one week prior to the start of your camp session.
