Scout Saturday: Reptile and Amphibian Merit Badge

Discover the reptiles and amphibians that live in Lake County as you earn your Merit Badge.

Join us for an afternoon of searching for and learning about the local reptiles and amphibians. Please bring your signed Blue Card for our Merit Badge Counselor on staff to sign off on your completion of the badge requirements. Please download the Participant Letter and Preliminary Information Document for work on specific requirements before the program.

Please dress for the weather, as we will be outside for a portion of the program. Download and fill out required paperwork and bring with you to the program. We will supply the worksheets.

Remember to bring:

  • Emergency Contact form
  • Waiver and Release
  • Blue Card signed by your unit leader (we do not supply the Blue Card)
  • Snack and water bottle
  • Appropriate clothing for being outside
  • Completed requirements, optional

Meet at Classroom Cabins.

Park in the Welcome Center parking lot and walk to the Classroom Cabins. Parents should accompany scout to cabins for check in and last minute details.
