Hoot and Howl Hike
Winter is a great time to listen for coyotes and owls, who remain active year round. Bundle up and learn about these amazing animals while we listen for them in the Forest Preserve. Perhaps we'll get lucky enough to hear a hoot and a howl.

Program held entirely outdoors so dress weather appropriately and wear warm boots. Trail may be snow-covered and uneven. If there is deep snow cover, snowshoes are recommended but not required.

Meet in the parking lot, on the south side of Ivanhoe Road, near Heron Pond. Refer to the Lakewood Horse Trails map.
