Your observations can make valuable contributions on behalf of amphibians and reptiles. Join wildlife biologists and educators to learn how you can help reduce road mortality.
Our wildlife biologists need your help. Join us to learn more about road mortality of reptiles and amphibians. Engaged citizen scientists can help us gather data to pinpoint road crossing "hotspots," as well as data related to local wildlife populations.
With over 31,000 acres to manage and only two wildlife biologists, observations you make while exploring the preserves can greatly increase our knowledge of local populations.
Following a brief presentation a wildlife biologist will give a virtual tour of HerpMapper, a not-for-profit cooperative project, designed to gather and share information about reptile and amphibian observations across the planet. You can create records of your herp observations and keep them all in one place. In turn, your data is made available to HerpMapper Partners like us. We use your recorded observations for research, conservation, and preservation purposes. Your observations can make valuable contributions on the behalf of amphibians and reptiles.
