The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Complete this year's Hike Lake County challenge with a forest preserve educator. We'll be joined this week by one of our Lake County Discovery Museum educators.
Out of respect for all of our program participants, we ask that you please leave pets at home for these walks. Service animals permitted.
Trail distance: 1.4 miles.
FREE. No registration required. Adult supervision required.
Meet at Route 45 entrance parking lot.
