The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Owner invites sealed Bidder’s Proposals for the Work described in detail in the Contract and generally described as follows:
· Mow 40-ac twice per growing season of newly seeded prairie restoration (~June 15 and ~August 15)
· Mow 30 acres of recently thinned oak woodland and floodplain area (~mid-July)
· Work shall also include selective foliar spray of herbicide with backpack sprayer and boom sprayer to achieve control of reed canary grass, Canada thistle, teasel, Indian strawberry, moneywort, creeping Charlie, garlic mustard, Phragmites, and cattail throughout 70-acre site. Boom spraying (~30-acres) and spot treating for invasive plants throughout 70-acres is required. This task is priced on an hourly rate for labor to perform herbiciding task. Herbicides and associated chemicals, dyes, adjuvants, etc. will be provided by the District. Selected contractor shall provide all equipment necessary to perform herbiciding tasks. Hourly rate shall include any project management, herbiciding mixing and preparation, herbicide application reporting, and oversight of field crew (minimum of 2 on-site).
