Sky/Place
Richard Deutsch and Susan Kraut, long-time teachers at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, are painters interested in the natural world. They use the medium of paint to express the visual experience they have in the landscape. Among the works exhibited at Brushwood are paintings of Irish skies and landscapes from a study trip in Western Ireland.
