Museum Benefit Bookfair
Get a jump on holiday shopping while supporting the Friends of the Lake County Discovery Museum. Present this voucher at any Barnes & Noble with your purchase on December 11 and a portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the Museum's support organization.
Special accompanying events in the Vernon Hills store include:
- 11 am - Talk on Lake County history by Diana Dretske, Collections Coordinator at the Lake County Discovery Museum
- 6 pm - Children's story reading by Katherine Hamilton-Smith, Director of Cultural Resources at the Lake County Forest Preserves
