Events in the Plaza - World Class Noise

Events in the Plaza is Independence Grove's free summer concert series of outdoor live music. Performances begin at 7:30 pm. Nine concerts will be held starting Wednesday, June 10 and continuing on Tuesdays, June 16 & 30 (no concert June 23), July 7, 14, 21, 28, August 4 & 11. If it rains the night of the performance, we will reschedule for Thursday of the same week, except there will be no rain date for the June 10 concert.
The preserve remains open past sunset on concert nights. Arrive early to secure your spot and take in a sunset over the lake or enjoy a light dinner, snack or beverage from the walk-up cafe. Blankets or lawn chairs are recommended.

Please note: traffic on IL Rte 137 (Buckley Road) in front of the preserve entrance is reduced to one lane in each direction from May 26 - August 15 as the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) works on the Des Plaines River bridge. For project updates, please visit the IDOT Web site.
